Jewellery talks...with Annoushka Ducas

The queen of jewellery charms Annoushka Ducas, a jewellery designer, creative director and entrepreneur who founded Links of London and Annoushka, talks to us whilst enjoying the sunshine in her Amalfi Long Dress.

Founder of the eponymous jewellery brand Annoushka, what is your proudest moment so far?

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is hearing from clients who have had something bespoke made. Recently, a whole family commissioned a "Life in Seven charms" for their mother. It was a true labour of love, they all put so much thought and effort into the present, and the result was truly special.

They sent us a little video of the moment she received the present, and it was incredibly emotional. Watching her reaction reminded me why I love what I do. It’s these truly personal, heartfelt moments that make bespoke jewellery so meaningful.

Who is your style icon and why?

Talitha Getty – who was effortlessly chic, well travelled independent woman with her own sense of boho style.

What do you think the fashion industry should change today to become more sustainable?

It would be wonderful to see fashion introduce less collections and really encourage buying less but better.

Which Oramai piece is your favourite and why?

I love my Klein Blue Amalfi dress - it so easy to wear and looks equally great by the beach or in town. I love the white detail on the sleeve and the hemline – which makes it so playful.
