OUR STORY
Isabella Papaz’s namesake label was founded in 2017, then named Oramai, to build, and operate within, a framework of sustainability. It is a Resort and Ready-to-Wear brand known for its genuine use of natural fabrics, while embodying a signature sensuality and ease.
After working at British Vogue, she is committed to fostering mindful fashion habits, and to acknowledge that we don't consume our clothing, rather that we dress to work, play, relax and love. Encourage a wardrobe that isn't just the sum of your buying habits, rather your way of expression, but in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Growing from a handful of directional boutiques and with an early endorsement from sustainable focused resorts such as Six Senses in Ibiza and Soneva in the Maldives, Isabella Papaz’s collection has gained a dedicated following around the globe.
Isabella lives in Notting Hill, London with her husband where the Isabella Papaz’s offices are located and is a passionate equestrian.
TIMELESS DESIGNS
The designs are relaxed yet elegant, modern still timeless, with focus on quality, so you can buy well and buy less. We produce in small production runs to reduce excess and waste, in an ethical and responsible way and are committed to champion a much needed sustainable revolution within fashion. Basing each of her collections on a foundation of natural fabric, beautiful finishing, and ease of fit and form.
NATURAL FABRICS
We only use 100% natural fabrics which are environmentally responsible. We use organic linens and details such as buttons made of nuts. Why linen? It is made from flax and there is no waste in production because you use the whole plant for the fabric. Rainwater is sufficient for its growth and our linen that is GOTS certified, uses no pesticides. This makes it hypoallergenic as 100% natural and therefore also fully biodegradable. We know that if it came from the earth it can go back to the earth. As more sustainable options and technologies become available we are committed to integrating them into our collections.
