The Kuri Earrings are made by women in the Amazonian Rainforest with the Hahku Organization. Hahku, means let’s go in Kichwa ( the local language), is an organization that promotes sustainable projects in league with small indigenous communities within the Ecuadorian Amazon.
This initiative aims to provide a unique opportunity to indigenous women in the Ecuadorian Amazon and beyond to utilise our cultural and artistic heritage in such a way as to protect our territories while providing them with a sustainable source of income through selling unique bespoke handcrafts via an online platform.
The earrings are inspired by the moon, handmade with a mix of beads and seeds from the rainforest. Silver plated earhooks. Sold in Pair.
